Greg L. Bischer
President and CEO
Greg has been in the Information Technology (IT) field since 1991, where his first job was to replace typewriters with personal computers. From basic PC installations in the early 90's, to designing and building today's state-of-the-art, corporate networks, Greg has been part of the revolutionary developments in the IT industry from the beginning. Greg blended the best practices and lessons he learned from developing IT solutions for organizations including the Taubman Companies, and Plante & Moran to create Bischer Technologies. He is committed to providing customized IT solutions with an emphasis on client-service. His passion is to help small-to-medium sized businesses utilize technology as a differentiator, not an inhibitor.
Director, Professional Services
Arvin has more than fifteen years of experience in technological industries, ranging from lead engineer to project manager. He is responsible for professional services and special projects, providing solutions for client requests surpassing traditional managed services. Prior to joining Bischer Technologies, Arvin served as the operations manager for a multinational organization with a large corporate infrastructure. He is a member of IEEE, a professional association dedicated to advancing technological innovation and excellence for the benefit of humanity, and is a registered Cisco Networking Ambassador. Arvin is committed to offering creative technological solutions, ensuring increased functionality of network systems.
Vice President of Sales and Business Development
Doug has over 12 years of experience in the IT industry, ranging from global infrastructure support to installing equipment to project management of new software applications and business development. He graduated from Wayne State University with honors and is certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP). After his initial career in the IT industry, Doug continued to be involved with IT but from a different perspective by recycling old, obsolete equipment into commodities for reuse to help save our natural resources. After 7 years, Doug returned to his initial career in IT support by leading the sales and marketing and continuing to develop new opportunities for the organization.
Sara has more than four years in the IT industry. Her love of computers started at a young age. She always knew she wanted to have a career in IT. Sara’s first IT position was for a nationwide tax company as a remote dispatch technician. Sara then joined Bischer Technologies as a level 1 helpdesk employee. She had gained the knowledge needed to become a level 2 technician and then proceeded to show the drive to become the Help Desk Manager for Bischer. As the Help Desk Manager, Sara ensures that client issues are resolved in a timely manner and good lasting relationships are maintained with the customers. Sara has completed her Master of IT from American InterContinental University (2011) and is currently pursuing her PhD in IT from Capella University.
Accounting and Office Manager
Jeff has more than 20 years of experience in Human Resources and Administration. He is responsible for Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Customer Quotes, Purchasing and Office Management. Prior to joining Bischer Technologies, Jeff spent 20 years serving in the United States Navy as a Yeoman; mainly responsible for the administration of personnel records, performance evaluations, naval instructions, and protocol. Jeff is committed to providing the highest level of customer service to Bischer Technologies clients as well as his fellow employees. Jeff has a BS in Business from the former New Hampshire College, now Southern New Hampshire University, (2000) and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Central Michigan University.
Director of Network Operations
Mark has worked in the IT field for over 20 years. He began working with CAD systems while working for a small engineering firm in the Metro Detroit area as a co-op in high school. From there, his love of computers grew into a lifelong career. Mark most recently was the Network Administrator for one of the country’s largest paper goods manufacturers. Mark was responsible for all network and system operations for this nationwide company. For Bischer Technologies, Mark will manage all Network Operations for not only all of Bischer Technologies clients, but also for Bischer Technologies internal systems and hardware. Mark loves to have new challenges brought before him to resolve with the highest level of quality. Mark is committed to providing the very best level of IT support and building long-term client relationships.
